As you will be aware, all existing Top Up point of sale was removed and replaced. We also took this opportunity to remove POS with the O2 logo and replace it with Three.

Point of Sale is crucial when trying to increase sales of PostPoint services in your store. PostPoint can provide you with POS for all our products and services. We offer material in various sizes and types, including posters, window stickers and wobblers.

PostPoint launch new Post & Pay Service in Monksland

PostPoint are delighted to launch our sixth Post & Pay site in Smith’s Supervalu in Monksland, Athlone. Post & Pay sites offer all the same great products as other PostPoint sites, such as Bill Payment, Stamps, Gift Cards, but they also offer some additional services, such as National and International Mail, Express Mail, and PostFX Load.

Three and O2 are coming together

What this means for you

From March, Three and O2 will be coming together to create a stronger network, there are some changes to credit top up vouchers that you need to be aware of.

What customers need to know when topping up:

  • From March, any customer who was on the O2 network should now but a Three top up voucher
  • O2 logos will be removed from top up terminals in the coming weeks
  • Three top up vouchers have 16 digits instead of 12
  • Customers should now dial 144 to top up
  • three and O2From March, a new €25 top up will be available to purchase for all Three (and former O2) customers
  • If a customer has an old O2 voucher, they can still top up using this

To enter the competition just take some photos of PostPoint POS displayed in your store and send them in to ros.clancy@anpost.ie with your details and the subject heading ‘POS Competition’. Entries will be accepted up to March 20th, with the winner to be announced at a later date.

Sales increase on back of new PostPoint branding

PostPoint first unveiled our new branding at Casey’s Centra Castlebar last summer. PostPoint placed our new branding at key positions around the store, including the front windows and various areas by the checkouts.
 
Since then, we have seen a huge increase in sales through the site, with products such as Bill Payments experiencing an increase of up to 550% year on year. 

PostPoint’s new branding brings us very much back in line with our parent company An Post. We believe this creates a much stronger PostPoint brand which will be very recognisable in your store and for your customers.

Gift Card sales increase

Increase in sales of Gift Cards with new display

Competition-winnersCongratulations to Garrycastle Spar in Athlone and Millbrook Motors in Co. Meath who were named the top two selling retailers for One4all Gift Cards over the Christmas period.

Joe Donegan, the proprietor of Garrycastle Spar, and Eileen, sales assistant at Gala Millbrook Motors, are both pictured on the right accepting their awards from their local Customer Sales and Services Manager Eddie Conaty.

Sales in both shops were boosted with the introduction of the new Gift Card stand which gave a prominent display for the products in store. Overall the new stand was a great success with almost all participating stores experiencing good growth compared to last year.
